9:00am to 5:30pm Round Games are on! Games are 45 minutes, alternating time slots, so there is always something to watch.
4:50pm to 5:50pm - BBQ snack to ward off any hunger pains before dinner
5:45pm to 6:30pm - Final: watch the best two teams of the day battle it out.
6:30pm onwards - Dinner, presentations and raffle draw

Big Sky 11 Ultimate Tournament
The Big Sky 11 Ultimate Tournament is on to raise money for our mates, Stacy and Mike Neild.
In 2009 Stacy was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), which is a degenerative disease affecting the way in which nerves communicate with muscles. Sufferers generally experience a gradual deterioration of motor control, including speech, and eventually vital life-system functions. It is typically fatal in 3-5 years.
Stacy is currently restricted to a wheelchair and finds it extremely difficult to move or communicate at all. She requires full time care, principally from her Husband Mike, who has had to dedicate his life to the care of his partner.
Mike is one of the best Ultimate players that Queensland has ever produced. A Dingo at Worlds in 2004 and 2008, he is also one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He is a role model to all and a wonderful ambassador for the game. Mike and Stacy were married in 2008 and it was only a few short months later that they learned of the condition that would so absolutely devastate both of their lives.
The Big Sky event is one way in which the Ultimate community within Australia (and Overseas) can express their support for Stacy and Mike and make a meaningful contribution to their wellbeing.
In Big Skies 2009 and 2010 Mike and Stacy’s mates raised over $35K which was extremely valuable in providing the medical and home care that Stacy requires to get through the day. Perhaps most significantly, it assisted the travels of Stacy’s family from Montana in the US to be with her. The money that was raised made, and continues to make, a real and positive difference.
In Big Sky 2011 we can show that support again.
You can contribute in any (or all) of 3 ways:

The tournament will be a short format (ie: 60 mins or games to 11) so smaller teams of 10-12 players are recommended.
